When Will My Order Be Shipped?

At Cheveux Secrets, we take care in preparing every order to ensure it meets our quality standards.

Order Processing Time

Please allow approximately 3–5 business days for your order to be processed before dispatch. Processing times exclude weekends and public holidays.

Once your order has been processed and dispatched, delivery will take place according to the shipping method selected at checkout.

Shipping & Delivery Times

  • UK Orders – Royal Mail Next Day: Approximately 1–2 business days.

  • International Express Shipping: Approximately 2–5 business days.

Please Note: Shipping times are estimates and do not include order processing. Delivery may be affected by courier delays, customs clearance or public holidays.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details.

What Currency Are Prices Displayed In?

All prices on the Cheveux Secrets website are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP £).

If you are shopping internationally, please convert the prices into your local currency to estimate the cost. Please note that exchange rates may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

How Do I Know If My Order Has Been Shipped?

Once your order has been processed and dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your shipment details and tracking number.

You can track your order by clicking the tracking link provided in your confirmation email.

Please allow up to 48 hours for your tracking information to update after dispatch.

Can Hair Extensions Be Returned or Exchanged?

At Cheveux Secrets, we take pride in providing premium-quality hair extensions and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and quality control.

Due to the hygienic nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for hair extensions where hygiene seals have been broken or the products have been used, unless the item is faulty or does not meet your statutory consumer rights.

Our Raw Hair Extensions are carefully sourced, with selected products made to order. Every order undergoes a thorough quality inspection before dispatch to ensure it meets our standards.

The main differences between Raw Hair and Virgin Hair are how the hair is sourced, the number of donors used per bundle, and how the hair is processed.

Raw Hair

At Cheveux Secrets, our Raw Hair is carefully sourced from trusted collectors, prioritising single-donor hair wherever possible. We aim to use fewer than four donors per bundle to maintain consistency in texture and quality.

Raw Hair undergoes minimal processing, preserving its natural texture and cuticle integrity.

Virgin Hair

Unlike our Raw Hair, Virgin Hair may be collected from multiple donors and undergo additional processing to achieve a consistent appearance and texture.

Which Hair Is Better?

Both offer beautiful results. Raw Hair is ideal for customers seeking minimally processed hair with exceptional longevity, while Virgin Hair offers a more affordable alternative without compromising on style and versatility.

Can I Request a Specific Wave Pattern for Raw Indian or Raw Cambodian Hair?

Our Raw Indian and Raw Cambodian Hair is sourced in its natural state, without chemical or steam processing to create uniform wave patterns.

As a result, natural textures and wave patterns may vary between bundles. Our Raw Cambodian Hair typically has a slight natural wave.

If you prefer a specific wave pattern, please contact our team before placing your order, and we will advise on availability.

Which Hair Is Thicker: Raw Cambodian or Raw Indian?

Our Raw Indian Hair typically has a slightly coarser texture, creating a fuller, more voluminous appearance.

Our Raw Cambodian Hair is also naturally full but generally has a smoother texture, making it ideal for achieving a sleek, natural finish.

Both hair types offer excellent quality, with natural variations between bundles.

Does the Hair Texture Change After Washing?

Our Raw Hair is minimally processed, with no chemical or steam treatments used to alter its natural texture.

The hair shown in our product photographs is typically air-dried and brushed. After washing and conditioning, the hair's natural waves or curls may become more defined.

As Raw Hair is a natural product, textures may vary slightly between bundles.

How Long Will My Hair Extensions Last?

With proper care and maintenance, our premium Raw Hair Extensions can last up to 3 years or longer, depending on usage, styling and maintenance.

To help you protect your investment, Cheveux Secrets provides a hair care guide with every order, offering advice on washing, conditioning and maintaining your extensions.

Can I Cut My Wefts?

We recommend avoiding cutting your wefts wherever possible, as this can increase the risk of shedding.

If cutting is necessary during installation, we advise having your hairstylist carefully seal the cut ends using a suitable weft sealant.

Please note that sealing can help minimise shedding but cannot guarantee its complete prevention.
